Diversities in Arts and Culture

This research project aims to examine different types of diversities in arts and culture, how are diversities being understood and approached from various perspectives, and what are the past, current and/or emerging diversities encountered in the production and presentation of arts and culture. 

This research project will take multiple perspectives and approaches to examine diversities in the arts. Specifically, this research is interested in cultural diversities, identities, languages and literacies from the perspectives of policy makers, historians, arts companies, creatives and/or audiences. This research can investigate specific artforms or focus on specific case studies to uncover multiculturalism, multilingualism, multi-ethnicities and superdiversities that exist in the arts and cultural realms. 

There are no limitations to research methodology. Research approaches can be case study, qualitative methodology, mixed methods or deskbound research, depending on the conceptual framework and research questions.
