LASALLE X Mama Magnet: Goreng Client Profiling Analysis
Context and problems
Mama Magnet is an independent co-creator specializing in conceptualization, curation and storytelling for multimedia art experiences. Collaborating closely with an eclectic mix of artists, technologists and producers, we invent playful encounters for our audience to navigate unconventional futures. Goreng is an innovative platform that leverages the possibilities of AI to simplify the search for the right artist(s) for any digital multimedia project.
The project aims to engage a group of LASALLE students to identify and address communication gaps between clients and artists involved in digital multimedia projects on Goreng's platform. By conducting in-depth interviews with potential clients, analyzing their needs and preferences, and developing a comprehensive Client Profiling Report, students will be challenged to identify common pain points and opportunities for improving Goreng’s artist search platform. Client profiling data will be used to create a framework for designing Goreng briefs that effectively match clients with appropriate artists, thereby enhancing the platform's effectiveness in bridging communication gaps and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Project Vision and Expected Outcomes
By the end of the project students should produce a comprehensive Client Profiling Report (maximum 10 pages) that outlines different client segments, their specific requirements when it comes to artist search and briefing methods, and potential communication strategies.
The Report should propose a framework for designing Goreng briefs that can effectively leverage various levels of client input to produce accurate artist matches. It should include recommendations for improving Goreng's client onboarding process and briefing design and guidelines for tailoring artist matching algorithms to different client segments.
