The talk will be followed by a panel discussion with BA (Hons) Arts Management students who will share their impressions of and insights into the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Japan.

Carrie Kwik

Ms Carrie Kwik assumed the position of Executive Director, Corporate Meetings and Incentive Travel at the Singapore Tourism Board. Immediately prior to this appointment, she was Executive Director World Expo & Special Project from November 2023 to October 2025. In this capacity, she led the whole-of-government efforts to conceptualise, develop, and operate the Singapore Pavilion at Osaka World Expo 2025 and to oversee the development of a new Wellness Attraction to establish Singapore as an urban wellness destination.
Carrie was previously based in London as Executive Director, Europe from November 2019 to November 2023 and was responsible for the Board's international operations in Europe developing marketing strategies and spearheading business development efforts.
Carrie brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge of the tourism sector, having held various key positions spanning public and private stakeholder management, investment promotion and business development since joining the Board in 1992.

Crystal Chu

Ms Crystal Chu is the Executive Creative Director of KR+D, the creative arm of Kingsmen, one of Singapore’s leading design studios. She oversees the overall management of the studio and plays a pivotal role in shaping its key design directions and developments.
Holding an Honours Degree in Museum & Exhibition Design from the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside, and with over 25 years of industry experience, Crystal has led projects in collaboration with renowned organisations including the Shangri-La Group, the National Heritage Board, Universal Studios, and Changi Airport Group.
Beyond her professional practice, Crystal is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of designers. She is a member of the Design Education Advisory Committee under the DesignSingapore Council, serves as Chairperson of the ITE Design and Media Academic Advisory Committee, and sits on the advisory board of the Media, Arts & Design School at Singapore Polytechnic.

Seah Chee Huang

Mr Seah Chee Huang is Chief Executive Officer at DP Architects. He believes in purposeful architecture that fosters synergy, brings positive impact and delight to everyday life. His notable works include pioneering integrated community, sports and lifestyle hubs such as the Singapore Sports Hub, Our Tampines Hub and Bukit Canberra, and the rejuvenation of Golden Mile Complex. His design leadership is rooted in better-than-sustainable outcomes, social value and innovation. He also champions corporate social responsibility through initiatives like Heartware Network’s co-lab workplace and Goodlife Makan, a progressive senior activity centre that won the President’s Design Award.
An advocate for the architecture profession, Chee Huang served as the President of the Singapore Institute of Architects from 2018 – 2020, where he spearheaded the Industry Transformation Map. He currently sits on several design advisory panels, and committees for various agencies and institutions.

Natalia Grincheva

Dr Natalia Grincheva is a Programme Leader in Arts Management at LASALLE College of the Arts, University of the Arts Singapore and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow in the Digital Studio at the University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on innovative forms and global trends in contemporary museology, digital diplomacy and international cultural relations. She received many prestigious international academic awards, including Fulbright (2007–2009), Quebec Fund (2011–2013), Australian Endeavour (2012–2013) and SOROS research grant (2013–2014). In 2020 she was awarded Oxford Fellowship for her visiting research residency at the Digital Diplomacy Research Center at the University of Oxford. Apart from her most recent co-authored book, Geopolitics of Digital Heritage (Cambridge University Press: 2024), Dr Grincheva’s publication portfolio includes two monographs: Museum Diplomacy in the Digital Age (Routledge: 2020) and Global Trends in Museum Diplomacy (Routledge: 2019).
