Decentralised Autonomous Organisations (DAOs) and Art

Synopsis: The seminar discusses innovative concepts at the intersections of blockchain technology like the Decentralised Autonomous Organisations (DAOs). It will feature Kenza Zouari, curator and member of the Cyber Baat, as a guest speaker, to discuss the rise of digital collectivism as well as artistic, social and economical aspects of these emerging organisations.

Speakers: 

• Kenza Zouari is a curator and a collector. She is the co-founder and curator of MONO, a micro-gallery based in Tunis, Tunisia specialized in digital art. She is also part of the Cyber Baat DAO aiming at increasing the representation of artists of African descent in the NFT space as well as in the traditional art world;
• Jonathan Liu is a Visual Artist & Educator working with photography within his practice. He is also a founding member of NFT Asia - an artist-led non-profit digital collective aimed at uplifting Asian and Asia-based artists. He graduated from London College of Communication with a BA in Photography and currently lectures at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore.
