Asia-Europe Foundation
Context and problems
Since 2008, ASEF’s arts and culture platform culture360.ASEF.org has been enabling digital access to relevant and updated information on arts, heritage and the creative industries and facilitating knowledge exchange amongst our ASEM member countries. Culture360.ASEF.org has a strong record in presenting up to date information about arts and culture across Asia and Europe and the portal has been widely recognised by arts professionals, organisations and experts in the sector.
However, culture360 has been unable to establish educational partnerships and collaborations with research and education institutions in the arts. Given the above, ASEF through its arts and culture website culture360.ASEF.org, wishes to engage students from LASALLE College of the Arts to research and provide their recommendations in the following areas:
- How can the content of culture360 be further developed to appeal to educational institutions?
- Numerous information and knowledge about arts and culture in Asia and Europe has been produced over the years through culture360. Are there ways that our existing content can be repurposed/redesigned and eventually integrated into the curriculum of academic institutions?
- How can culture360 explore further synergies with these research and education institutions in the arts?

Project Deliverables and Outputs
Deliverable by the students should be a strategy report that should entice research and education institutions in the arts to partner/collaborate with culture360. This should include:
- identifying areas for collaboration such as exploring the idea of a MOOC, webinar, research and training projects based on the content of culture360
- describing and identifying the types of potential education partners culture360 could work with, coupled with case-studies/examples of such successful and sustainable partnerships
- producing an online resource pack/toolkit to be made available on culture360.ASEF.org as a teaser to what these institutions can expect if they were to partner with ASEF.
